Advertisements Win Award from Indiana Banker’s Association
(Monday, June 29, 2009) The Scott County State Bank received recognition for its current marketing campaign by the Indiana Banker’s Association. The campaign, titled The Bank Is Your Bank, was awarded Best Print Advertisement at the IBA’s 2009 Maxi Awards.
“We are honored to be recognized for this prestigious award,” says Syd Whitlock, President of The Scott County State Bank. “The campaign has generated a great deal of buzz in Scott County and has certainly raised our awareness in the market.”
The campaign was the brainchild of AdHawks Advertising Agency in Louisville, KY and was photographed by Brian Bohannon. The advertisements feature testimonials from current customers of the bank discussing why The Scott County State Bank is their bank. The ads feature Terry Amick, owner of Amick Home Center; Chris Routt, owner of Mr. Foto; Richie and Susan Buchanan; and Joshua, Dawn, Jesse, and Jaylah Mays.
The MAXI Awards recognize the best marketing and communications by Indiana banks. The awards ceremony was part of the IBA’s annual Mega Conference in Indianapolis. This is the first time The Scott County State Bank has entered the marketing competition.
